Artist Meets Artisan in SoHo
On view at Cartier SoHo through August 4, 2024, is Artist Meets Artisan, a program that invites contemporary artists to collaborate with designers and artisans from Cartier's workshop, using jewelry-making materials, tools, and techniques to create new works of art. The Maison exhibits these pieces globally, in museums and Cartier boutiques. The installation at Cartier SoHo presents Jean-Michel Alberola's "The Precision of Opposites," comprised of four objects, alongside a recent painting titled "The Moon."
